DescriptionTake off from Madrid for an unforgettable guided tour around Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where three religions coexist. Start with a panoramic view of Toledo, then begin walking through the city, visiting must-see sights such as Toledo Cathedral and the old Jewish quarter. Following alongside your guide, walk through the city until you reach the square of the city hall called Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Then, visit the interior of the Primate Cathedral of Santa María de Toledo (Toledo Cathedral), which is currently part of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. After the cathedral, explore the old Jewish quarter on foot. Enter the Santo Tomé Church where you can see the famous painting, 'The Burial of Count Orgaz.' Continue on to visit the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, a museum and former synagogue in Toledo. Erected in 1180, according to an inscription on a beam; it is disputably considered the oldest synagogue building in Europe still standing. Before returning back to Madrid, end your trip by seeing the Monastery of Saint John of the Monarchs and the Hermitage of Cristo de la Luz.
