Description

Head to the meeting point and hop aboard a comfortable bus to set out on your guided day trip. Then, sit back and relax as you travel to your first stop for the day, the medieval town of Ávila. Immerse yourself in the city's rich history as you admire its architectural gems and religious monuments. Wander along the remarkably well-preserved city walls dating back to the 11th century and enjoy sweeping views of the town and the surrounding countryside. See the Ávila Cathedral, a wonderful example of Gothic architecture complete with stained glass windows and intricate sculptures, as well as the Basilica of San Vicente, the Convent of Santa Teresa, and more. Then, head back to the bus and travel to your next destination, Segovia. Explore the UNESCO-listed city with your guide and learn about the Aqueduct of Segovia, an ancient Roman aqueduct dating back to the first century BC. From here, head into the medieval Old Town, Segovia's historic center. Wander through the labyrinth of narrow streets and discover picturesque alleyways lined with old buildings. See the Plaza Mayor and marvel at the imposing Segovia Cathedral before taking a walk to the Alcázar Castle, once the fortified residence of the kings of Spain.
