Begin your tour at Plaza de las Descalzas, outside the entrance to the Monastery of Descalzas Reales. Your guide will explain the facade and exterior before entering.
Inside, admire key areas including the cloister, used annually for the Procession of the Holy Burial on Good Friday. The main staircase is a centerpiece of the monument, featuring notable murals and ceiling paintings attributed to Claudio Coello.
The tour continues through the Hall of Tapestries, the Choir Room, and features Plateresque doors, valuable artworks, and paintings by artists such as Zurbarán, Antonio Moro, and Luca Giordano.
