Description
La Castafiore opened in 1996 to promote young artists and preserve the traditional lyric opera form. The wait staff perform typical Spanish zarzuela songs, engaging with diners throughout the evening.
The dinner begins with an overture from “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” paired with a Spanish omelet tapa. The first act, “Die Zauberflöte,” is served alongside marinated salmon rolls with baby broad beans in garlic sauce. For the main course, choose between grilled entrecote with herb butter ('La Bohème') or hake with parsley, baby eels (gulas), and clams ('La Traviata'). Dessert, called the “plaudit,” features a milk mousse inspired by “El Gato Montés.”
The night ends with all guests invited to raise a toast to “La Traviata.”
