Canyoning, also known as canyoneering or barranquismo, combines walking, scrambling, jumping, abseiling, and swimming through canyons. This tour offers an adrenaline-filled way to explore nature near Madrid.
The Somosierra Canyoning Tour takes place in the Duratón River gorges, the only open canyon adventure in the Madrid region. The adventure begins with a 30-minute walk from the parking area to the canyon entrance. Participants then descend through waterfalls, clear pools, and rappel down 30-meter granite walls. The experience includes sliding down a natural 9-meter rock slide.
