Description

The Royal Collections Gallery houses a significant collection of paintings, sculptures, tapestries, furniture, and decorative arts, representing five centuries of Spanish art and culture. Located adjacent to the Royal Palace of Madrid, this museum features masterpieces from renowned artists such as Velázquez, Caravaggio, Goya, Titian, Bosch, Luisa Roldán, and El Greco.

Visitors start on the top floor and descend following ramps displaying videos that explain the history and construction of notable monuments like the Monastery of El Escorial and the Palace of La Granja. The museum includes a temporary exhibition room and a large immersive cube offering 360º projections of the Royal Sites’ architectural and natural surroundings.

The visit concludes in a spacious exhibition gallery hosting rotating shows. After touring the museum, guests can relax at the café or explore the museum shop before continuing their visit in Madrid.
