Description
The tour starts with hotel pick-up in Madrid and a one-hour drive to the historic city of Toledo. The first visit is a local winery, where an oenology expert guides a tasting of select Castilla-La Mancha wines paired with small tapas. After the tasting, the group travels to Toledo for a guided tapas route in the city’s traditional tasting bars, with the option to stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
The Toledo visit begins at Mirador del Valle, offering expansive views of the city’s medieval layout and monuments. The tour continues at Plaza Zocodover, Toledo’s historic center, before walking to Plaza del Ayuntamiento to admire the Toledo Cathedral and former Palace of Justice. The guide leads a walk through the Arab and Jewish quarters, sharing the history and legends from when Toledo was known as the 'City of Three Cultures.'
