Description
Nomad Immersive Museum is proud to present a world premiere dedicated to the titans of Spanish art: ‘The Immortal Triad: El Greco, Velázquez and Goya’.
This immersive journey pays tribute to three masters who redefined the course of Western painting. From Renaissance mysticism to modern realism, “The Immortal Triad” offers a deep immersion into the soul of its most iconic painters.
• El Greco: The master of Mannerism, known for his elongated figures and spiritual intensity, he bridged the gap between the Byzantine tradition and the Renaissance.
• Velázquez: The ‘painter of painters’, whose mastery of light and perspective at the royal court became a fundamental influence for generations of artists.
• Goya: The revolutionary visionary whose work shifted from Rococo elegance to the unsettling ‘Black Paintings’, capturing the social and political upheavals of his era.
Beyond the visual spectacle, ‘The Immortal Triad’ serves as an educational platform, offering: historical context with key events and ideas from the Spanish Golden Age and the Enlightenment, and artistic insights into colour palettes, techniques and fascinating facts about the lives of El Greco, Velázquez and Goya.
As visitors move through the space, they witness how these masters evolved from documenting their surroundings to creating psychological and atmospheric worlds of great depth.
Technology brings centuries-old canvases to life, allowing visitors to appreciate the details of the brushstrokes on a monumental scale. For 40 minutes, thanks to digital technology, the most iconic canvases move, breathe, envelop you, merge with one another and pulse to the rhythm of a specially selected soundtrack.
