Description
Your pilot will provide all necessary instructions before the flight. The launch is simple: the pilot will lift the glider, and your role is to run forward without sitting or jumping. With low wind, running may not even be necessary.
Takeoffs occur from gentle grassy slopes. Depending on wind direction, flights take place at either Cebreros or the Somosierra mountain pass, both about 90 to 100 km from Madrid.
The flights cover a vertical distance between 600 and 800 meters. Flight duration varies with wind strength and typically lasts 15 to 25 minutes. In low wind conditions, flights can last around 10 to 12 minutes.
