Description

The Prado Museum is, for many, the best art gallery in the world. The museum houses collections assembled by Spanish monarchs, featuring works by Spanish painters such as Velázquez, Goya, Ribera, Murillo, Zurbarán, and El Greco, as well as European artists such as Titian, Rubens, and Bosch. Given the variety and quality of the Prado's collections, we have designed a route selecting pieces, which is determined by the personal tastes of the collecting monarchs and by historical circumstances. For this we will include the following pieces: 'The Annunciation' by Fra Angelico, 'The Descent' by van der Weyden, 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' by Bosch, 'Charles V at the Battle of Mühlberg' by Titian, 'The Lavatory' by Tintoretto, 'The Adoration of the Shepherds' by El Greco, and 'Las Meninas' by Velázquez, among others. You can choose the option Prado Museum and Reina Sofía Museum to discover modern paintings and 'El Guernica' painted by Picasso.
