Covering 135,000 square metres, it is the largest palace in Western Europe and among the largest worldwide. Although it is no longer the official royal residence, it hosts significant state events. The guided tour includes iconic spaces such as the Plaza de Armas, the Grand Staircase, King Charles III and Queen’s apartments, the banquet hall, royal chapel, throne room, and crown room.

The Prado Museum features over 1,000 works spanning four centuries. Highlights include masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, Sorolla, El Greco, and El Bosco.
