Why not enjoy Madrid in a different way and take half a day in the beautiful Sierra de Guadarrama. Be picked-up by your guide at the hotel and then you’ll go to Sierra de Guadarrama only one hour away from the city. Your guide will take you on a route that for certain will impress you as you discover la Sierra during winter. From the experienced hikers to the rookie ones, there will be a bunch of trails to choose from. It will be easy to learn how to walk in the snow. You don’t need to do anything else than strap on your snowshoes to start straight away. Enjoy the amazing scenery and the silence of the white mountains. It will be an experience of a lifetime. No previous experience with hiking will be required. However, hikers should be in sufficient physical condition for this activity.
