Description

There are about 650 pieces on display out of an inventory of more than 70,000; are you going to miss it? We will all meet next to the information office of the royal palace with a blue umbrella. Then we will walk to the entrance which is about 3 minutes away. Did you know that the Gallery has been closed for a long time due to the size of the palace inventory? size of the palace inventory? And also did you know that it had its origin at the end of the reign of Elizabeth II? In this gallery there are 3 floors divided into the dynasties of the Trastámara and Habsburg, Bourbons, and temporary exhibitions where you can see the most unimaginable objects. for example, you can see the mysterious carriage from the court of Charles II, gigantic columns from the old convent of Montserrat convent or the luxurious crown of the Virgin of Atocha, among many others. Right now, you can visit Sorolla temporary exhibition. It ends on floor -3 in the area of temporary exhibitions where you can leave through the Cuesta de la Vega or return by the elevator to floor 0. There is also a store where you can buy souvenirs and the fantastic guide of the gallery.
