Description

Enjoy the Perseid meteor shower of 2025 on the outskirts of Madrid. The days of greatest activity will be from August 11 to 15, reaching their peak on the nights of August 12 and 13. The activity will begin at 9:30 p.m. with an interactive workshop on shooting stars and meteorites. You will be able to see and touch real meteorites and, with them, you will better understand what the Perseids are, where they come from, how to observe them, and why they always occur at the same time of year. When night falls, we will take a guided tour of the most important constellations and stars in the summer sky and spend the night observing them through a telescope. We will enjoy the observation until 12:30 a.m., but without taking our eyes off the sky so as not to miss the shooting stars. In addition, you will be able to observe the most outstanding objects in the summer sky through the telescope: impressive star clusters and nebulae in our Milky Way. Without a doubt, one of the best nights of the year to look at the sky.
