Lozoya Tower, Segovia

 

Inthe fourteenth century the Cuellar family tower was built, one of the richest and noblest families in the city thanksof the wool trade. Due to this he owned large herds of livestock. It was later restored by Mr. Francisco Eraso, secretary of the King Philip II in the mid XVI.

The building maintainsa beautiful Renaissance courtyard as well as a beautiful garden with arcaded galleries.

Nowadays the building is owned by the local bank and is allocated to different art exhibitions.
