The first stop on your full-day tour is the medieval town of Pedraza, located just 37 kilometers north-east of Segovia and an hour’s drive from Madrid. Experience the unique rustic atmosphere of this beautiful walled medieval town that was carefully restored and declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1951. Enjoy a stroll through its cobbled streets and stop for tapas and a glass of local wine at a typical meson. Your tour continues to Segovia, known for its well-preserved, 16-kilometer-long Roman aqueduct. Home to a number of kings of Castile, the city boasts some of the most important medieval buildings in Spain. The elegant Segovia Cathedral is known as the Lady of the Cathedrals, and the Alcázar is the country’s most spectacular castle.
