Description

Day one Our journey begins at the picturesque hilltop city overlooking the Tajo River, renowned as the 'City of Three Cultures'—Toledo, the former capital of Spain. Here, Muslim mosques, Jewish synagogues, and Christian cathedrals coalesce in a vibrant kaleidoscope of cultural heritage. With several hours at your disposal, explore the city's iconic landmarks such as the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral, the Alcázar, and indulge in Toledo's famed Marzipan for lunch. Continuing through the stunning landscapes of the Castilla-La Mancha region, you'll encounter a panorama of vineyards, windmills, castles, and mountain ranges. As evening falls, we arrive at our overnight destination, Córdoba—a city pulsating with energy and adorned with captivating architecture that promises to enchant you. Day two Leaving Córdoba behind, we visit the formidable Fortaleza de la Mota, a once-prominent fortress that now lies in ruins. Afterward, we journey to Granada's Old Town, a charming step back in time, where we'll explore the magnificent Alhambra Palace, a Moorish masterpiece from the 13th century. Following our exploration, we return to Córdoba, reflecting on the day's whirlwind of experiences. Day three Today, we embark on a journey to Seville, epitome of Spanish essence, where Moorish heritage, fragrant orange trees, tantalizing tapas, and passionate flamenco await. Explore Seville Cathedral and La Giralda tower, or stroll along the Guadalquivir River to admire the ancient Torre del Oro. In the afternoon, we visit the charming town of Carmona, known for its picturesque city gates and remarkable Roman necropolis, before returning to Córdoba for the evening. Day four Our exploration of Córdoba continues with a guided tour of the majestic La Mezquita, a UNESCO World Heritage site representing a blend of Muslim and Christian architecture. Enjoy leisure time exploring the city before we venture to Castillo de Consuegra, a 10th-century castle offering breathtaking views of 'Don Quijote' windmills. As the day draws to a close, we bid farewell to Córdoba and return to Madrid.
