Description

Madrid is home to many wineries, some older than others and with more stories to tell. Join us some metres below the ground to walk among a museum of tinajas and learn about winemaking practices, both old and new. We'll tell you about Madrid as an appellation including the grapes, and the wines, and show you a little bit of history. After we've visited the winery, we'll head upstairs to have a tasting of three wines with some cheese. Once the tasting is finished, we'll head to Chinchón to enjoy lunch in the main square. Lunch consists of some entry plates to share followed by a choice of meat or fish before finishing with dessert and coffee. You'll also be able to enjoy a wine with your meal if you wish. This is the perfect day to escape the city and enjoy more of what Madrid has to offer. Led by Michael, an English native now resident in Madrid who is qualified wth the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and a certified Spanish Wine Scholar.
